Fellow community members,
It was great to see so many at The Alex Hotel for the inaugural SNUG Ireland event on Friday 31st May. I didn’t get to talk to everyone there, but everyone I spoke with agreed that there is a real need for an Irish based SNUG that can assist and represent the Irish ServiceNow community. The event was a great start, and now we need to mobilise the User Group!
As mentioned at the meeting I have the honour of being the first SNUG Leader for SNUG Ireland!
See attached the (sharable) slides from Damien Davis’ presentation at the event.
As mentioned on the day, we are proposing a number of streams of activity for the SNUG:
Events – plan one or two major events each year – suggest a mix of ServiceNow, ServiceNow Industry Partners and User/Member Presentations on Product Pipeline and Topics of Interest – SNUG key contact – Damien Purcell (BOI)
Technical Stream – the ServiceNow Communities site thread, and a small number of events if demand exists – SNUG key contact – Tom Daly (Ervia)
Process Stream – as above – the ServiceNow Communities site thread, and a small number of events if demand exists – SNUG key contact – Andy Doyle (BOI)
Ask of you: To participate in the SNUG community, be active, volunteer, help create a vibrant community that we all can benefit from.
CALL for volunteers to help lead the SNUG. We are looking for 2-3 people to volunteer and participate as part of the overall leadership group. Please let me know if you are interested in being involved in the site set-up/administration, event organisation, stream event organisation, etc.
We will keep you posted on upcoming events that will/may be of interest to you.
Please use this forum to raise ServiceNow related questions that you have and hopefully others on the forum will share their experience to help with others' queries.
Many thanks to Andrew, Alex, Mohamed, Barry and Damien from ServiceNow for hosting and presenting the first event for SNUG Ireland.
Looking forward to a successful SNUG.
Best regards,
Damien Purcell.
