Issue:  In the Cloud Resource Dashboard, the Service Account dropdown and the Region dropdown show empty results though there are service account and region records in the instance.

Root cause: The service accounts and the regions were not listed in the dropdown because the default value of the install_status in the dictionary was set to 4 i.e., "Pending Installed". As per the design, the dropdown is supposed to list only the service accounts/regions whose installed status is 1 i.e., "Installed". But, in one of the customer's instances, the default value was set to 4 i.e., "Pending Installed"

Solution: The default value for the install status in the Dictionary entries is 1 in the OOB instance. Since it is customized to 4, the solution here is to change it to 1.

The Cloud Resource Dashboard does not seem to be available for us at this time.  We are struggling with getting good data to review after Google Discovery.   Can you tell us why the Dashboard is not available in the menu for access?

Currently, the Cloud resources dashboard supports only AWS, Azure, and VMware.

GCP is not added in the first version of Cloud Resource Dashboards app - we are getting requests for GCP support, and this is planned in the roadmap. The timeline is not yet finalized.

Also, what do you mean by "The Cloud Resource Dashboard does not seem to be available for us at this time"? Aren't you able to find it in the filter navigator? Can you please post a screenshot

That is correct.  We are unable to find it in the filter navigator.  Here are attached screenshots.  I cannot find it under the Cloud Provisioning and Governance options either.   If this Dashboard is not available for use with Google discovery, how do we provide a dashboard to management that lists these results "The Cloud Resources dashboard shows the aggregated view of all your cloud resources, their combined analytical views, and a visual summary and detail of all your cloud resources?"   find_real_file.pngfind_real_file.png

Can you please check if "Performance Analytics Content Pack for Cloud Resources" scoped app is installed on the instance? Also, make sure that the instance is on Paris or later release.

The dashboard is shipped through this scoped app

Regarding the documentation, the below information is specified.

"The Performance Analytics Content Pack for Cloud Resources works with Discovery and Cloud Provisioning and Governanceand supports these platforms: Amazon AWS CloudMicrosoft Azure public clouds, and VMware vCenter."

I am able to locate this plugin "Performance Analytics - Content Pack - Cloud Management" but not specifically  the content pack for Cloud Resources?  I am assuming they are the same thing.  If so, no..we do not have it installed.   Just want to verify with you though before I attempt to install it in our development environment that plugin I am able to locate is the correct one.

"Performance Analytics Content Pack for Cloud Resources" is the one that has to be installed.

If the instance is on Paris or a later version, it should appear on the plugins pagefind_real_file.png

Interesting that I am able to find the plugin is available in our development instance of service now but not in our production instance?  Why would that be the case?  Screenshots below:

Hello.   Any further comments on why this plugin is not available in our production instance of ServiceNow ?

Thanks in advance.

Do you currently have Discovery activated on your production instance?

What if you you go directly to app on the store?

https://store.servicenow.com/$appstore.do?#!/store/application/93e24ee6dbfd5810546546f813961987/1.0....

Do you have the button to "Get" or "Request Install"?

Hey Brian:

Yes we have discovery activated in production.   I did just go directly to the app store as you have listed above and am trying that option.
