vCenter discovery throws "Controller is empty for FC Port...." warning in the Discovery logs

Issue:

vCenter discovery throws warning message - Controller is empty for FC Port52:4a:33:73:03:d4:c8:16,52:4a:93:37:03:e4:c8:06,52:4a:93:73:30:e4:c8:13,52:4a:93:73:03:e4:c8:04 though the controller is present for the FC port.

Reason for the warnings:

vCenter discovery tries to find the controllers for so and so FC ports, if it finds the controllers, it uses the controller information to build certain relationships. Controllers are discovered through storage server discovery and not through vCenter discovery. If storage server is not discovered, and only vCenter is discovered, it is an expected behaviour to get these warnings.

Fix to avoid the warnings:

To avoid such warning, you must discover the storage server prior to discovering the vCenter.
