Agent Client Collector - not compatible with AIX Servers

Are ServiceNow agents compatible with AIX Servers, for agent client collector for monitoring.

As per KB1172387 , it is clearly mentioned AIX server is not supported by ACC and why. Here is screen shot.

Looking for the best practices to discover the AIX servers, I am aware about the SNMP Traps. Another option could have been integration with the third party monitoring tools, however the there is no other ,monitoring tools for AIX servers but ServiceNow.

AIX is best Discovered using SN Discovery vs ACC.  Read the docs carefully and ensure you're starting with your HMC Servers, as well as the AIX servers themselves.  You should end up with HMC > IBM Frame > LPAR > AIX.  If you regularly execute LPAR migration between Frames, be extremely careful with the OOB identification rules that are based on LPAR ID, which will duplicate in certain situations. Depending on your AIX versions this can be mitigated, but you need to watch for it before it creates a mess.
