Algosec Service Now Integration using REST API

Hello Deepak,

The answer is dependent on the direction of integration for RESTful requests.

As it is today, AlgoSec Firewall Analyzer and FireFlow products support inbound RESTful API calls in a limited fashion compared to SOAP requests which allows for a broad range of record queries and manipulation. Both protocols in RESTful and SOAP requests are heavily documented in the API manuals.

Some more great news is that the AlgoSec products are flexible in allowing RESTful or SOAP protocols for outbound requests.

The AlgoSec OS provides some examples of web service clients that can be found in the '/usr/share/fireflow/local/WebServiceClient' directory. You will need to refer to the documentation for deploying web services for outbound requests. Inbound requests are enabled by default and if a username/password SOAP envelope is requested from the AlgoSec web services, a successful session Id will be generated to perform additional requests.

Could you pls share the corect path as I'm not able to find anything in share site.

Also you or anyone have steps for Integration of Servicenow with Algosec. I need to implement same in my project.

Anyone using an integration to an Algosec product? I cannot find any reference to Algosec on Share or the ServiceNow Store.
