Automating End-of-Life/End-of-Support data in ServiceNow for operating systems or software

Has anyone been able to automate the End-of-Life/End-of-Support data in ServiceNow for operating systems or software?  I'm trying to easily get the information whether by API or some other method into a spot in ServiceNow so we can enhance our discovery data.  I hit a few roadblocks right off the bat... 1) can't find any APIs out there to link into so I can't get the data easily; 2) not quite sure where it belongs;

 

Any help would be great.

Hi,

We have software asset management in place. Where we handle all this entitlements and contract is mapped with this entitlements. But the contract details are again brought from someother tool or setup manually.

You could make  a call to third party software which would provide you with the end-of-support information using the BR, once record is created or OS updated. Also, you could write a scheduler job to run and check for the records which are at RISK in the upcoming 3 months.

You need to purchase ServiceNow's Software Asset Management module (maybe Pro level) to get this.

There IS actually an open API for end of life data for both OSes and some hardware, just found it today! https://endoflife.date/ 

It would be great to have a native spoke for https://endoflife.date API. We could easily have the TRM information updated in the EA Workspace.
