I already have cloud discovery running so my service accounts are set up.
When i try run a Billing Download Job I get the following error:
Execution is not created because of the below reason(s) :
success: Connection to MetricBase successful
success: Connection to MID Server successful
warning: Connection to Azure Balance Summary failed
I have followed the setup instructions according to the guide here: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/utah-it-asset-management/page/product/cloud-insights/task/azure-e...
Has anyone successfully setup cloud insights with azure, or run into this issue before?

Hi @sainathmuntha ,
Can you please confirm for which cloud you are scheduling the download job.

Refer the these steps, might help.
After creating credentials for both AWS and Azure, you can configure Cloud Insight billing and usage data for both platforms in ServiceNow. Here are few steps to follow:
- Install the Cloud Management plugin: To configure Cloud Insight billing and usage data for AWS and Azure, you need to install the Cloud Management plugin in your ServiceNow instance. This plugin provides the necessary functionality to manage cloud resources.
- Configure AWS and Azure credentials: After installing the Cloud Management plugin, you need to configure your AWS and Azure credentials in ServiceNow. You can do this by navigating to the Cloud Management Portal > Credentials, and then creating new credentials for both platforms.
- Configure AWS and Azure billing data: To configure AWS and Azure billing data, you need to navigate to the Cloud Management Portal > Cloud Insights > Cloud Usage > Cloud Provider Data. Here, you can configure your AWS and Azure billing data by providing the necessary information, such as billing account ID and region.
- Configure AWS and Azure usage data: To configure AWS and Azure usage data, you need to navigate to the Cloud Management Portal > Cloud Insights > Cloud Usage > Usage Data. Here, you can configure your AWS and Azure usage data by providing the necessary information, such as AWS account ID and Azure subscription ID.
- Create reports and dashboards: Once you have configured the billing and usage data for AWS and Azure, you can create reports and dashboards to analyze your cloud resources. ServiceNow provides a wide range of reporting and dashboarding capabilities, allowing you to create custom reports and dashboards based on your specific needs.
In summary, by configuring Cloud Insight billing and usage data for AWS and Azure in ServiceNow, you can gain better visibility into your cloud resources and optimize your cloud spending. By creating reports and dashboards, you can analyze your cloud usage and identify areas for improvement.
Also this will be known issue, I faced these issue and raise the issue with ServiceNow Support.
