1. QLogic virtual connect 4Gb FC Module

How are they being entered into CMDB by discovery? If it is via credentialess discovery (nmap) you won't get the serial number.
- Check that you have an entry for each device in the System OID table.
- Ensure you have the proper SNMP v2c or v3 credentials in the discovery credential vault or CyberArk.
- Using SNMP Walk, or similar command line snmp query tool, test said credentials. You can also use one of these SNMP Browser UIs.
If #2 or #3 do not show a serial number, contact your network admin team as there is likely some issue with SNMP on the device.
If you do get a serial number, go to Discovery > Credentials. Ensure the credentials you tested are listed here. You can open the credential record and click "Test Credentials" found under "Related Links."
If they are and still not working, check the Discovery IP Affinity related list for an entry matching the IP Address of your device - delete it and perform a test credentials again.
If it still isn't working, open a case with ServiceNow.
