Hi Rajat,

Do you know what the payload is? you might find it in discovery logs

Not sure if it helps but I am having the same problem with all my CISCO Stack Switches, but not normal switches.  At the same time I also notice the payload on the HorizontalProbe exceeds the Payload limit when working through the Network Switch Discovery Pattern.  I have increased the mid.discovery.max_pattern_payload_size and the second problem has gone but the first remains.

Having a look at the SNMP return payload I notice Snow returns many 1.3.6.1.2.1.47.1.1.# strings, like 2K+.  By the time these get to the HorizontalProbe they are concatenated into one long string which appears to try to load into the Description field of the CI.  Within the long string are a few sets of '&#13' which I wondered might be responsible alternately the sheer length of the string is causing it in some way.

Regards

Louis
