While trying to discover a Switch I am getting the following Error:

Error in Horizontal Discovery Sensor for Horizontal Pattern: Payload was in an unexpected format, the payload will not be processed

I have the same issue, event after upgrade the plugins: Error in Horizontal Discovery Sensor for Horizontal Pattern: Payload was in an unexpected format, the payload will not be processed. Can you someone direct me further?

I came across this same issue so I set mid.discovery.max_pattern_payload_size to approx 100000 and the issue got solved for me.

Hello, i am having this issue with openshift kubernetes discovery, is happening to one JSON file and it only happen for clusters that are larger than 80 nodes... could this be a problem due to the size of the file?

I have set the mid.discovery.max_pattern_payload_size to 50000000.
