Hi,
I ran quick discovery of an IP - 10.14*.*.228 and in ECC queue it shows the Agent is using multiple MID servers, IS it normal? I mean is it as per the process and correct?
Also, when I check the discovery log, I can see it is using Secops_DEV mid range. I am really confused like which MID server would actually discover this IP. I have around 8 MID in the system. I have been told that there are 2 specific MID being used for discovery and Secops_DEV is not used for discovery.
Please help as I am new with Discovery module.

Hi,
1. What type of discovery is being used? Cloud or server/network etc..
2. Did u check in discovery credentials if MID has been selected OR its just left to All MID servers. Also its worthwhile to check your discovery schedules.

in that case i would suggest to check the credentials and discovery schedules. that will tell u which range is configured and if any credentials are having all MID specified then u may not need to check why and then tag the specific MID server.
Also check the default MID server credential starting with "MID server" name which i have found generally in enabled mode and that usually goes into all instances like how u are experiencing..

Hi Pratik,
I am really not getting what you are trying to convey.
