Failed to recognize application.

Hi,

Can someone pls help me on below issue. I am getting below error-

I'm working to create a Service Map. Earlier I was getting an error as "The system failed to create an inclusion connection from CI (type:cmdb_ci_app_server_websphere). There is a containment rule for this CI type and a pattern which is associated with the contained item, but no inclusion connection created".

I'm following the below link and added "cmdb_ci_app_server_websphere" table name in the ECC agent property (ECC agent Table :ecc_agent_property, Property Name :map_accuracy_errors_ci_types_to_exclude)

https://www.servicenow.com/community/itom-forum/no-inclusion-connection-created-from-ci-type-cmdb-ci...

Now there is a new error comes up as "Failed to recognize application. See the Discovery Pattern Log for more details". I have attach the screenshot of pattern log and map.

hi @SD21 , have you got some clarification for that error? I have similar situation but there is no error shown in the pattern log, I wonder if it complains about the connections coming out of the CI (in my case this is Load Balancer Service)? Thanks in advance for any leads!

Best regards,

Marek

Did you get the error resolved? I'm getting the same issue "Failed to recognize application. See the Discovery Pattern Log for more details." but I don't see any pattern steps on the left window in the discovery log. Please let me know if any resolution help you solve the issue. Thank you.
