CPI 19 CMDB Correctness

  • Add the combined measurement of all CIs in scope to the CPI tab.

Data In Sope:

Operational Status = Operational

Incorrect CIs are CIs which are Stale or Duplicate:

  • Stale CIs - Most Recent Discovery Date > 30 days  from current date
  • Duplicate CIs:
    • CI Classes other than IP Switch or Wireless Access Points: CIs with the same name AND serial number.
    • CI Classes IP Switch and Wireless Access Point CIs with the same name AND serial number AND IP Address

CI Classes:

  • Server
  • Windows Server
  • Linux Server
  • ESX Server
  • Storage Server
  • Storage Controller
  • Storage Switch
  • IP Firewall
  • IP Router
  • IP Switch
  • Network Gear
  • Network Interface Device
  • Palo Alto Firewall Device
  • Wireless Access Point

Use OOB functionality. Create your staleness and correctness and use CMDB Query Builder. Why script this?
