We are not licensed for discovery use, or at least not enough licenses to use it. Way back when, we used the HELP THE HELP DESK script where we created a SCCM for it and pushed to all clients. This was MOSTLY just used to capture the person that logged into an asset (laptop) most recently and update that on the assset in the CMDB.
I read know that HTH is deprecated and there is an AGENT CLIENT COLLECTOR now.
I am looking at it but am confused about what to install, or even if it does this small piece like HTH used to. Does Agent Client Collector provide the "last person to login to this laptop was" update ability? If so, which piece do I install?
