Hi,
I need to create a Deletion policy for redundant CIs in CMDB Data Manager.
Which filter conditions would work for this?
Thanks.

CMDB Data Manager does not have a native “duplicate CI” detector.
Deletion policies work on attributes and lifecycle signals, not on relational duplicate logic.
Therefore, deletion policies are typically used to remove stale, orphaned, or superseded CIs that are already known to be redundant based on trusted indicators.

Hey,
in the CMDB workspace you already have a deduplication functionality: Duplicate CIs remediation
I'd recommend looking into this instead. If you want to automate this, you could use the deduplication task as the baseline for the automation. However, automating deduplication can be dangerous and i personally recommend getting the CMDB team on-top of their data maintenance activities (which this is one of).
