How to create de duplicate template for remediate duplicate tasks

Hi All,

we wanted to automate the de duplication tasks, so we wanted to create de-duplicate template for remediate duplicate tasks if windows server and Hyper V server having same name.

Hi @Pavan you'll want to create the template at the cmdb_ci_server class level and in the "General Information" section, make sure to select both check boxes

• Automatically select all de-duplication tasks that match the selected class
• Add all child classes

Because your looking at both the windows and Hyper V and they're in different classes, you have to go up one level to ensure both classes are included when the template scans for qualified tasks to include in the process.
