Regarding the "Login: GET is not allowed!" error message, this is what I received from ServiceNow Support when it happened to me. The short of it is your lab instance isn't fully ready yet and you need to wait. Requesting a new instance will only make it take longer 'til you have a usable lab instance available, so be patient.
In my case, the entire course was supposed to only take 2 hours, so I ended up finishing all content way before a lab instance was available and it's highly debatable whether I'll go back and complete the labs once a lab instance is available. It just depends on how long it actually takes and my availability whenever it's fully ready.
Response from support:
Your instance is not available at this time because it is currently in the launching state.
If you attempt to log into it when it is still launching, you may see the message "GET IS NOT ALLOWED!" and the credentials will not succeed with the login process.
When you requested your instance there wasn't one in the course's pool of instances to provide you one with immediate access so a new instance needed to spin up to provide to you. When the instance is launching, it loads everything necessary for your course's requirements.
The time it takes for instances to launch for this particular course is approximately 2 hours.
Once your instance becomes available, you will be able to access it by either of these two ways :
1) From your course, click "open my instance" button - this is the best because it provides the credentials automatically
2) Open the URL in a separate window or tab and enter the credentials - this also works pretty seamlessly...
