I would like to confirm whether it is possible to copy the complete body of an inbound email to the Incident Description (OOB String field type) field when creating an Incident through Flow Designer.
The inbound email body contains both plain text and HTML tables, and the requirement is to preserve and populate the content in the Incident Description exactly as it appears in the email.
Could you please confirm if this is supported through Flow Designer? If not, what alternative solution would you recommend to ensure the original email content, including the table formatting, is accessible from the Incident?
Thanks in Advance!

that's correct, you can use inline f(x) script in your flow while setting the work notes field

Thank you for your response.
I tried mapping the email body to the Work Notes, but the table content from the email is still not being displayed in the notes. Is there any additional configuration or setup required to ensure that the table data is also mapped and displayed correctly?
PLEASE NOTE- The email body contains Simple text and also the table.

work_notes do render HTML table as well
did you wrap the email body content within

tag then only it renders HTML properly?

Hi @Ankur Bawiskar ,
Thanks!
Do you have exact syntax which i need to follow while doing mapping in the flow designer or any community link which can help.
The way you are suggesting , it seems i am missing something.. still its not mapping table.
