Hi,

We have master and child cloud discovery setup. For few AWS cloud service account, key value in cmdb_key_value table is not getting updated, for few accounts duplicate key value pair getting created instead pf updating old one.

Could someone please help me with troubleshooting?

Thank you!

@Ram Devanathan1 @Narsing1  Thank you for response.

I checked Discovery logs. For 'Amazon AWS - Key Pair (LP)' pattern, I am getting below error.

: Pattern exit because Graceful Termination, reason: Key Pair is empty Failed Condition(s): [(${key_pair} : value=[]) IS NOT EMPTY ]

Have you checked the Related entry table as mentioned instead of Pattern as Pattern works based on this configuration.

Thanks,

Narsing

Hi @Narsing1

I have updated it to Key in related entry

key value is neither getting updated nor created in table. I assume that is because of error in pattern.

table.

Any screen shot would help to check from the related entry.. like "Allow null attribute" is true? Is your table pointed to cloud service account as per your issue? also, update with the latest version of pattern if not.  Once updated, perform the "Pattern sync to MID Server".

Thanks,

Narsing

Hi @Narsing1 ,,

Pattern is not updated, we are using OOTB.

In cmdb_related_entry,  "Allow null attribute" is true and  Criterion attributes = key

Identifier : cmdb_ci_cloud_service_account
Related table: Key Value [cmdb_key_value]
Reference Field: configuration_item

Error in Discovery Logs: Pattern exit because Graceful Termination, reason: Key Pair is empty Failed Condition(s): [(${key_pair} : value=[]) IS NOT EMPTY ]
