Hi Everyone,
I'm looking at doing some Service Mapping for SAP 4 Hana.
As I don't have much experience with mapping SAP apps, it would be great if anyone who has already been working on similar maps could share a few pointers like:
- What is recommended to capture as Application Service for Sap4Hana? Just Sap4Hana as one App Service, or split it into some modules/smaller apps?
- What is the entry point type/details we can use for such service maps? Would it be a URL, maybe TCP details, or some web-service type entry point?
- Are OOTB patterns of any help here or will this rely mostly on custom pattern development?
Many thanks in advance for any advice!

hi @REK4EVERSOURCE ,
To view 18 OOTBs for SAP, please navigate to discovery patterns in the left navigator, and type in for SAP in the name field you can find all the pattern associated to SAP.
sn_discovery_patterns_list.do
How do we handle when we have a parallel landscape for project work consisting of Dev, QA, Preproduction?
We will get different URL's or hostname and port information depending on the environment. We need to create separate service maps for each environment. For example SAP S/4 HANA - DEV , SAP S/4 HANA - Test and so on.
If this answers your question, please mark my solution as helpful.
