Microsoft Azure AD user provisioning

Hi,

 

We have a requirement to integrate ServiceNow with Microsoft AZURE AD for automatic user provisioning. In our case, we already have LDAP that imports users. However, we are moving away from LDAP to Azure AD for user provisioning. We would like to know if this will cause duplicates users for the existing users.

Hi,

If the unique identifier you will be using in the Azure AD automatic provisioning exists on the user records today then there will be no duplicates. For example using email as your identifier. If there is a new unique identifier then you need to populate this on the existing records before to avoid duplicates.
