Need Alternative Methods to Exclude Specific Classes from Discovery

I need to exclude some classes during Discovery, or I need to abort the record insertion into the cmdb_ci table for particular classes.
I do not want to deactivate the pattern steps or the entire pattern.

Are there any other ways to skip specific classes during Discovery?
