payload xml which is the outcome of the SNMP-Classify probe doesnot contain sysObjectID. so, it cannot identify manufacturer and model of the switch which are defined as such in system SNMP OIDs. Rest of identification/expolration works fine and all cmdb properties are being updated correctly. Is there any configuration that needs to be done form switch side?

Hi Prasanth,
Perhaps SNMP not configured properly on that Switch. Check with your network team and ask them to reconfigure.

Vivek

<sysName oid="1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5" type="SnmpOctetString">BGUSOF16.xxxxxxx.com</sysName><sysUpTime oid="1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3" type="SnmpTimeTicks">814784098</sysUpTime><sysDescr oid="1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1" type="SnmpOctetString">Cisco IOS Software, IOS-XE Software, Catalyst L3 Switch Software (CAT3K_CAA-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 03.07.01E RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3)

I have no other field in the "SNMP - Classify:"payload with "SnmpObjectId".
How does classification works on this cases?
