Where is the OOTB functionality for impact calculation is taking place for incident?

Alternative, if you're looking for the priority lookup rules on incidents: Define priority lookup rules (servicenow.com)

  • Impact: Business loss and potential damage (for example, financial, customer, regulation, security, reputation, brand) caused by the incident
  • Urgency: Speed at which the business expects the incident to be resolved
  • Priority: sequence in which the incident should be resolved

Would we use the Alert impact calculations for Change Impact scoring as well?

Hi @Hariharan_A ,

You will need to understand what is impact :Impact is a measure of the effect of an incident, problem, or change on business processes.

Impact is something which you setup for your company which helps to calculate the "Priority" of an incident based on Impact and urgency.

There is no specific calculation runs for "Impact".
