Phone number in On-Call Roster

Hi There,

I've been looking at the Rostering system in Service-Now and the below forum post:

Can on-call person's phone number be display on the on-call calendar in addtion to just name?

I would love to see this feature implemented, our techs use on call kits (Mobile phone + laptop) when they are scheduled in for after hours support.
This means that the phone numbers rotate on a regular basis amongst them. From what I can gather from searching the wiki and forums there is no functionality to add and display a number on the calendar.

Unless I missed something anf there is an alternative way to doing this (suggestions welcome).

Thoughts?

One thing we do in our business, since we run a 7 person on-call rotation (for our team), we use Google Voice.
We have one number we give out for Priority 1 after-hours and each week before the next person's on call starts, they get a notification and the morning of their first day of on call, they're reminded to update the GV to use their cell.
It works out pretty well in our case having a small team.

I know this doesn't answer your question but may be a good workaround

Thanks for the reply mamann, unfortunately we have several groups that run After hours support e.g Server Operations, Database Administrators etc. hence the reason for multiple contact numbers. Good effort though.

I've also tried running a calendar report on schedule entry table but the criteria will only show what days I created the items not the dates I have them scheduled for (Rage!). It seems at this point no matter how I try to sort out a work around there is always something minor that stops me.

--Edit as I write this I have made a work around.

You can edit the Teams roster to show phone numbers, but not the user. This gets the job done but it means I can't schedule a repeating event over a long period of time just in case some one calls in sick and the number changes. As with a repetitive event if you change one entry you change them all.
