Hi,
When I run discovery for network devices, the device get classified but CI field is empty. Then I checked the discovery log, I could see network pattern is failed.
So i started debugging and found this error "relation and/or reference table cmdb serial_number is not a known ci type. check the discovery logs for more details."
If anyone faced this issue. Please share your inputs.
Thanks.

Hi Yokesh,
Did you get any solution for this? In our instance, we are trying to use the custom Identification (independent) rule for Linux Servers (cmdb_ci_linux_server) rather than using the OOTB Identification rule of Hardware Rule and getting this error:
Relation and/or reference table cmdb_serial_number is not a known CI Type. Check the discovery logs for more details.
Any help on this is very much appreciated.
Regards,
Deepak
