Reporting on incidents created between certain times daily

I am looking on creating a report that would find out how many incidents were created in my instance between X and Y hours of a day, for X months. ServiceNow support said there was not a basic functionality to perform this kind of report, so I turn to the community to see if they are able to assist with this.

I have come up dry looking for this kind of functionality already discussed on the forum. Reported of creation between certains dates is easy, but time I can't seem to locate.

This isn't what you asked for but I thought this would be helpful as you then don't have say show me between this and that hour.

You can add a grid to the bottom and then have you counts by hour.
