Hi @sukran
See service mapping only maps CI's associated to a specific service. Its totally dependent on the application service owner that what CI's are present in his application service. Each application service has an entry point, and that entry point has a host CI, which should already be discovered or present in our cmdb.
Now since you want a Mid server application to be mapped, which cannot be done, since its an application running on a ci. Also here Mid Server is acting as a bridge for instance to collect info from CI's.
There it can not be mapped, also if you discover your own device or laptop, in running process you cannot see MID SERVER application running on it since its behind the device firewall for security purpose.
I hope this will clear your doubt.

My midserver is a VM. Shouldn't I map the ci to a technical service or app service?
