Hi Sanket,

It seems like I might have misunderstood your question. Could you please clarify what you mean by "finding the mid server to run the quick discovery"? If you're looking to run a quick discovery, the general practice is to install the mid server closer to your target devices. This ensures faster and more efficient discovery processes. Let me know if this addresses your query or if you need further assistance.

@Selva Arun  we have lot of mid server installed I am confused to which one to choose for the given ip address

Think about it from a technical perspective.  The MID server is a computer on a network.  This computer will need to connect to the other devices, so network access + the necessary credentials are necessary for Discovery to run on a device.  So for example, I want to discover a router on my network, I need to make sure that IP:port 161 is open, and the network access and SNMP port is configured to allow the MID server access.  I suggest connecting with your Infrastructure teams to explore which MID servers should be used for each network being scanned and configure Discovery Schedules accordingly.

is there any way to find for this ip address this mid server should be used

I just wanted to know that ??
