Stop expiring certificates as events in Event Management

We just implemented Certificate Inventory and Management for a customer and the customer also have Event Management.

I think that I've see configuration to not receive events in em_event table if a certificate is expiring. 
We don't want to create Alerts for these events since we already will have a Certificate Management Task for expiring certificates.

Where can I configure this in Certificate Inventory and Management? Sure, I can create an event rule to ignore these events, but I'd prefer to stop creating these instead.

you should go into the sub-flows and set the 'Certificate Event Management' sub-flow to inactive, it is active by default.
