Hello,
I also had difficulty in finding solution for the
Task 12: Build Query with Non-CMDB Table.
But after a lot of changes I made I got the solution for the same.
Here is the Solution for this query:
Step 1. Navigate to CMDB Query Builder.
Step 2. Create New and Select Query Type as "CMDB Query" and enter the name mentioned in your Task on Now Learning.
Step 3. Select Configuration Item from CMDB Classes as below:
Drag Drop this on the screen next to it.
Step 4. Now Select Incident from the Non - CMDB Classes as below:
Step 5. Now add filter to Configuration Item as below:
Step 6. And apply filter to Incident as below:
Step 7. Make connection in Configuration Item and Incident Class as shown in below Diagram
Step 8. Now Save and Run the Query and Instance will direct you to another Screen where you can view the number of records and you have to check that Number and paste the number in the Description of the Saved Query on the right side of the screen as below:
Your Task will be validated successfully.

For others who encountered the same issue, I added the necessary columns for the 2 tables and it some how worked for me.
