Test credential false positive issue

When I open any credential record and click test credentials, the pop up to enter in the IP address and the MID appear as usually. However, no matter what IP I put in, it always passes(authenticates) even if discovery is failing due to credentials for that device. I was pointed to maybe an issue with the UI page, but that did not pan out.
I have attached two screenshots, one is before test and the other is after the test. This IP being tested is not an IP that this org uses and not valid in that regard.
One thing to mention is that we are using a connection to external storage. But even when I make that option inactive, I noticed the same issue occurs. Any thoughts and has anyone else experienced this?

That does sound suspicious. You can verify by checking the ECC queue or reviewing the MID Server agent logs to confirm whether the messages are being sent to the correct target.

I did some digging and it seems to be something with the script include that is called by the ui page pop up after test credential is clicked. Here is the error I am getting now after I click okay to start testing 'Cannot read properties of null (reading 'indexOf')'

I put in a ServiceNow case since this appears to be broken functionality. I have checked both a working instance and this affected instance and the code appears to be the same. I dont see any issues with the MID servers either.

Hi @SRSkaggs,
Did support respond to your case? I'm having the same problem.
