VMware discovery schedule fail

Hi, everyone!

So, I'm trying to create a cloud discovery schedule for a VMware vCenter server.

I'm running into all sorts of issues:

1. Account Id/System UUID invalid. I've extracted the UUID via shell so I know it's correct. Still, when I try to create a Service Account with it it says it's not valid. I've tried the workaround mentioned here : If you do not have access to the MOB, enter a temporary alphanumeric text such as 5ca3033a-12...

2. If I use a generic one like mentioned here

and I trigger a Datacenter Discovery to retrieve the actual Account Id, that results in another error:

The midserver used is ok, the credentials are good.

3. If I try to do it from the Cloud Operations workspace -> Cloud Discovery home and I try to create a service account as part of the discovery schedule I can't get past the validation of the service account even though I press the Test

4. Last but not least 🙂 via the Discovery schedule app -> Cloud Discovery. Here, I actually get an error

What am I missing? I know for sure the UUID is correct? Are there versioning limitations for the Vcenter? What else can I check?

Thank you!
