vmware test credentials resulting in XML with return type: ServiceContent; nested exception

I am Testing Vmware credentials on port 443, resulting in error

Error as below:

An error occurred parsing XML with return type: ServiceContent; nested exception is: org.dom4j.DocumentException: Error on line 1 of document : White spaces are required between publicId and systemId.

HI @Hemanth Rachab1,

 

This must be a credentials issue only, you need to use the correct credentials or correct Domain as well , also Check with 9443 port as well.

 

Also user name should be domain\username or .\username (workgroup device).

Hello Ajay,

Thankyou for response, we have tried it still its not working. 

customer is not using domain account, then what can be the possible solution?

Hi @Hemanth Rachab1 ,

 

Special character in username is causing the issue, remove the @ or use the .\username (username which you are using for vmware discovery) , Please try with this and confirm.
