When discovery running, serial no of a CI(switch/router) flipping multiple time and coming in

Hello Experts,

I am facing an issue while running the discovery.

When discovery running, the serial no of a CI(switch/router, etc.) flips multiple times, its shows the serial no as name+serial number, but it only shows the serial no.

I have checked the history of that device and a lot of logs have been created for this, how can i prevent them, please suggest.
