In ask the experts video, it is mentioned as - "unlike a full scans which can which scan every device incremental scans focuses only on the changes since the last discovery"
Source - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulwFn30wMrw at 20th min. Looks like a misleading one or the content is not properly articulated.
Where on earth is that Incremental scan hidden 🙂

@Suggy Not sure of Incremental Discovery, but there is a feature like event collector (vCenter event collector), where an event collector is configured for a vCenter and start it. Inside it, it collects various events like VmDeployedEvent/PowerOnEvent and when these events occur, it generates an event and sent to ServiceNow and update CMDB. This is near-real time update.

@Suggy Today I came across, Delta data pull for Service Graph connector for Azure. This is enabled by enabling a property and that will pull only the delta.
If this property is disabled, then the whole data is pulled. Here is the exact link with more details:
https://www.servicenow.com/docs/csh?topicname=sgc-cmdb-azure-data-sync.html&version=latest
May be, they meant this, when they say 'incremental Discovery'.
