Outcomes: Learn how to enable and start using Sidebar Discussion Summarization for Now Assist for ITSM

 

Required Applications, Plugins, and Versions

  • Xanadu Patch 1 or above
  • Now Assist for ITSM version 5.0.1 or above
  • ITSM Virtual Agent Conversations version 9.2.2 or above
  • Service Operations Workspace version 6.0.0 or above

 

Install and configure Sidebar Chat Summarization

  1. Install the Now Assist for ITSM plugin and activate Now Assist Panel
  2. Navigate to Now Assist Admin > Home 2.JPG
  3. Select Now Assist Features, then select the Technology tab, then select View Details under the Chat card.3.JPG
  4. Select activate skill under Sidebar Discussion Summarization4.JPG
  5. The ‘Define Triggers’ screen will appear. The Bulleted List toggle allows you to choose between a paragraph and bullet point format for chat summaries. After you’ve made your selection, click ‘Save and continue5.JPG
  6. In ‘Choose tables’, select the tables users will be able to generate Sidebar chat summaries for.6.JPG
  7. In ‘Select display’, toggle the display in-product button. Save and continue7.JPG
