Outcomes: Learn how to enable and start using Sidebar Discussion Summarization for Now Assist for ITSM
Required Applications, Plugins, and Versions
- Xanadu Patch 1 or above
- Now Assist for ITSM version 5.0.1 or above
- ITSM Virtual Agent Conversations version 9.2.2 or above
- Service Operations Workspace version 6.0.0 or above
Install and configure Sidebar Chat Summarization
- Install the Now Assist for ITSM plugin and activate Now Assist Panel
- Navigate to Now Assist Admin > Home
- Select Now Assist Features, then select the Technology tab, then select View Details under the Chat card.
- Select activate skill under Sidebar Discussion Summarization
- The ‘Define Triggers’ screen will appear. The Bulleted List toggle allows you to choose between a paragraph and bullet point format for chat summaries. After you’ve made your selection, click ‘Save and continue’
- In ‘Choose tables’, select the tables users will be able to generate Sidebar chat summaries for.
- In ‘Select display’, toggle the display in-product button. Save and continue
- Review the details and select Activate
