Unfortunately, demo instances cannot be renamed because they are temporary instances that can eventually be suspended and retired.
By design, Demo instances cannot be selected from the Service Catalog item "Rename an Instance" on the Support Portal. as Instance rename requests are only applicable for Production and Sub-Production instances.

If you require a demo instance with a specific name, please request it directly via your account manager/ Account Executive.
