Integration Error: Mid-server Exception, Unable to resolve host name and default mid server is down/invalid

We were having an Integration to a SQL Server through Data source from workflow and faced this below error:

Error in task:  The integration to update the Budget Entry System has returned an error: Mid-server Exception: Push data to BES table. Unable to resolve host name: example.com and default MID Server is down/invalid

Steps to resolve:

  1. Navigate to Data Source and check if all the connections are correct and test load the records if its working correctly.
  2. Navigate to JDBC Connections for your SQL server and click on Test connection to validate MID-SERVER.
  3. Navigate to Mid Server and click on server which is using in the data source. Check if you see any MID Server Issues from the related list. If yes, then try to resolve the mid server issues.
  4. Navigate to MID Server -> click on Applications module -> Click on Orchestration -> Check if default mid server is null or pointing to wrong mid server. Set the default mid server to the correct mid server we are using in the Data source.
