The Data Model AI Can't Work Without: CSDM | Autonomous IT Academy

This session is for teams who need the data layer right before they scale AI on top of it. It sits at the start of the Zero Service Outages journey, in the Insight phase, where the data backbone that powers everything (AI, automation, and analytics) gets established.

We keep this practical and move through three things. First, CSDM key concepts: a re-grounding in the fundamentals and how CSDM relates to your CMDB, framed for environments that already have data in them rather than a clean slate. Second, why CSDM data matters for AI: what changes when agents start reading and acting on your model, and why structure and governance stop being hygiene and start being the thing that determines whether AI works at all. Third, how to represent and capture AI elements within CSDM: where the AI components of your estate fit in the model, so they're governed like everything else.

This is a top-of-the-funnel session by design. The deeper technical treatment lives in the companion white paper, so we spend our hour telling a clear story (problem, why it matters for AI, how to capture it) and leave room for Q&A.
