Access controls for Incident Metric database view

I'm trying to set things up for my ITIL users so they can run reports off the Incident Metric database view.   Primary goal is to get user access to the Incident State Duration metric definition so they can start looking at how long incidents are in each incident state over the life of the incident.   The problem is that when the report is viewed by an ITIL user the report just says "Security constraints prevent access to requested page".

I've went into the Incident Metric database view and found that it was composed of information from the Metric Definition, Metric Instance, and Incident tables.   I gave users with the ITIL role read access to the Metric Definition and Metric Instance tables.   I then had an ITIL user view a report built off the Incident Metric database view again and it showed the same message - "Security constraints prevent access to requested page".

I'm wondering how I can set up the Incident Metric database view so that they can be reported on by users with the ITIL role.

Try giving access to Incident Metric table directly rather than to the Metric Definition. And Metric instance separately

That solved it Deepak.   Didn't cross my mind to do that.   Thanks for the help!

Hello,

My issue is similar. I gave read and write access to "Custom_App_Metric" table. Users are able to view report but they can neither add filter conditions to it nor change the rows and columns to a desired field. User can only see "keywords" and   "number" fields in drop-downs. How may I resolve this issue?

I am having the same issue as Jeff, however when i look for the incident metric table to add them directly i cannot find it, can you please assist?

Thank you!
