Add a new field in description of approval task

Hi,

I want to add a new field in description of approval task.

Case- there is a requirement to add newly created variable inside the description of approval task so that approver can get complete idea before approving.

Please help me to know how we can do this.

Hi @snriya ,
In the variable record you created for the Catalog item (Description), Checkbox the field 'Visible on summaries' to true to show on Approval page.

Hi,

If a fulfiller fills the value in new field in catalog task and then it should show same value in summary of description in approval task.

The approval is triggering after 1st catalog task.

How to set the value in approval task description

Hi @snriya ,

Fullfiller can fill the value in the Catalog task Variable editor.

In the first catalog task, the fullfiller add the description in the variable editor,  and close the record.

Following an approval is triggered, and the value of the description is taken from the variable editor fields.

Also, if you can help me to know how to copy the mvrs values from 'variables' section of a  catalog task to other variables of same catalog task.

I need to copy two mvrs tasks in normal variables which can show value in description of approval task.

I want to copy email field value to approver field.
