add 'i' icon for string field

i have a requirement that i have to add a 'i' icon to a string field to preview the record.

can anyone help. thanks in advance

Hi,

not possible out of the box

It is only shown for reference field

Since it's a string why would somebody preview as it's not a record

Can you functionally describe what you are actually after? I mean, previewing what exactly on a string field? A string field, is just a string field. So there's nothing to preview?
