Adding New stages in the RITM List view

Currently we are using out of the box flow " Step Based request Fulfillment" In all our catalog items, As per the flow it will show only three stages i.e.. "Service Fulfillment", "Complete", "Closed incomplete". But our requirement is to add more stages "Approval" and "Fulfillment".  I can able to add them by cloning Parent Flow but those are not showing as the the correct stage and state, It means if the state is waiting for Approval or Request Approved It is not Showing  the Stage of "Approval" in the list view same for Fulfillment when the Task is created. Moreover I can not add this stages in the SubFlow that is "Service Fulfillment Step Base flow".

 

So Please suggest how can we proceed to add them as per the sage.

Add the Stage values to the respective workflow activities after which the Stage values will get reflected as expected in the list view of the RITM.

In the above given link they are setting the stages in the Workflow but I need to set in the Flow designer that too in the out of the box flow. I could achieve it by cloning the flow. But only thing I left, it is not showing the correct stages when it is in Approval state and in task created state.
