Does anyone know how the State and Decision fields are controlled in the Agenda Items of the CAB Workbench. I like to use this to determine which items were reviewed in CAB versus the ones that were skipped.

Hi Robert,
In Cab Workbench:
State:
Represents the state of Agenda item in the cab_workbench.
If meeting is not started, state for all the agenda items in 'Pending'. If meeting starts and one by one agenda items comes into the focus. The one which is in focus has state 'in_progress'. For cab_manager there is option called 'Pause' and if clicked, takes that agenda item in 'paused' state. For change approvers there are options like 'Approve / 'Reject'. If clicked on 'Approve' and then clicked next, agenda item state moves to 'complete' and if rejected and clicked on 'next', agenda item state moves to 'Rejected'
Decision:
This field is governed by the agenda items. For change approvers, agenda items have 'Approve / Reject' option. If approve is clicked, decision is moved to 'Approved' and if 'Reject' is clicked, decision is moved to 'Rejected'.
On change_request form there is a field called 'approval' (Not visible on form OOB, there is UI policy OOB which hides it). If this is 'Approved' already, then the decision is 'pre-approved'.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Himanshu

I'm assuming that in most cases (not at my organization) CAB has an approval step in the change workflow. Therefore during CAB the CAB Manager would approve/reject/no decision when reviewing the change in the CAB workbench.
