AI search opening in 'form' page on Service Portal

We have enabled AI search for our custom portal, but using the OOB search widgets.
When searching with knowledge article number with space, it directly redirects to 'Form' page instead of article or search results page. If i am searching with number without any extra space at last, i am getting the expected results.
For example, if i search with 'KB043134 ', it will redirect me to form page but if i search with 'KB043134', it will redirect me to article page.
Could anybody help me out?

Did you get a solution to this? I am getting the same issue after upgrading to Tokyo.

Yes, it was resolved by upgrading the typeahead search widget to the latest version in Tokyo, and we were calling typeahead search from a custom header so I also had to update the way the widget was called using server script.

Thanks, will look into that, I am pretty new to this so not sure how to upgrade a widget, any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
