To activate or configure alert notifications on mobile for ServiceNow, you can follow these steps:
- Log in to your ServiceNow instance as an administrator.
- Navigate to the "System Properties" module in the left-hand menu.
- Search for "Thresholds" in the search bar at the top of the page.
- In the "Thresholds" section, you will see a list of properties related to threshold notifications.
- Locate the "glide.notify.threshold" property and set it to "true" to enable threshold notifications.
- Set the "glide.notify.threshold.1" property to "50" to trigger a notification at 50% threshold breach.
- Set the "glide.notify.threshold.2" property to "75" to trigger a notification at 75% threshold breach.
- Set the "glide.notify.threshold.3" property to "90" to trigger a notification at 90% threshold breach.
- Save your changes and exit the "System Properties" module.
Once you have configured the threshold notifications in ServiceNow, you will need to set up your mobile device to receive the notifications. The specific steps for this will depend on the type of mobile device you have and the notification settings for that device. Generally, you will need to ensure that notifications from the ServiceNow application are enabled and that they are set to display on the lock screen or in the notification center. You may also need to adjust the notification sound or vibration settings to ensure that you are alerted when a notification is received.
