ATF Record Insert Error

Hello,

In ServiceNow ATF, there are cases where an error occurs when executing the ”Record Insert” step. However, when we run it again after the error occurs, the error sometimes disappears.  I have checked in the Test results in ATF the error is "

Operation against file 'cmdb_ci_service_discovered' was aborted by Business Rule 'Check Uniqueness for SN App Service.

What could be the cause of this issue and how we can resolve this issue ?

Hi @Khalid9030

Kindly check this:

Article 1

Article 2

There will be a BR on cmdb_ci_service_discovered table which is restricting the record update. If on transform map you say run business rule to false then this will work.

@Shaqeel

Thanks for your reply,

I have removed the number field from the Record Insert step even also getting the same attached business rule causing issue.
Please help me to resolve the issue.

@Khalid9030

I don't know the resolution unfortunately.

If it does not affect the test run, you can always ignore this by adding this error in ignored list.
