ATF Test step to wait while submitting catalog Item form

Hi Everyone,

We have a Catalog Item with Variables Group Name(string) and Select Group Name(Select box)
User enters a group name (or group key word)  in "Group Name" variable and the entered group(/group key) is validated through Integration with AD and all the responses from AD are added as choices dynamically through an On-change catalog client script to Select Group Name variable.It takes about 15-20 seconds to run the Integration and add choices to Select Group Name Variable .

I am creating an ATF Test for the whole process and challenge is I cannot replicate the 15 seconds gap in set Variable values Test step and Select Group Name cannot be hardcoded since it is a choice type variable.

Is there any ATF Test step that can help in this scenario ?

such type of scenarios cannot be tested via ATF as you are bringing data from API and then setting the choices.

This is ATF limitation.
