Good afternoon! I've been tasked with coming up with a solution to automate the creation of standard changes for our maintenance of servers each month. Currently, they are working from a spreadsheet that runs a script and populates the dates for the next maintenance window. I'm needing to find a way to make this work in ServiceNow and take into consideration the variations on Patch Tuesday when they occur. I can utilize a flow to create the standard changes that have a maintenance schedule of a specific name, but I'm not sure that that is best practice. Thoughts? Pointers?

I think it's a best practice to create standard change requests according to the maintenance schedule. I think it's a useful feature.
My concern is whether it's necessary to take into account the case where the actual change request implementation date is changed and it deviates from the schedule, or vice versa.
